Shalini is a populor south Indian film actress. She made her Malayalam debut in movie Ente Mamattikkuttiyammakku as a child artist in 1983. As a child artiste, Shalini acted over 80 films. She acted in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu films. Shalini made her debut as a heroine in the Malayalam movie Aniyathi Pravu, the movie was a big hit. Ajith and Shalini were blessed by a baby girl named Anoushka on 3rd Jan 2008. Shalini has great passion for badminton and has played in a few state level tournaments.
